サイパンの珊瑚の産卵観察の盛り上がりに感化されて、私も私も！と夜な夜な海へ行って参りました。あいにく産卵の瞬間には立ち会えませんでしたが、水中や水面に浮く無数のピンク玉(卵)を見ることができたので、おそらくニアミスだったのでしょう。来月の産卵のタイミングは計画的に狙っていこうと心に決めたのでした。今回はサイパンとグアム、同じタイミングで珊瑚の産卵があるという事実がわかっただけでも好奇心がウズウズと疼いてます♪

I heard from friends in Saipan that they were able to see the Coral Spawns as they happened. I missed the spawning itself, but were able to see some floating midwater from another place, and found a bunch of eggs floating on the suface. Here are some of my pictures. I should be able to catch next month’s spawning though!!!
